Pipa

History: Pipa was born in the wild in 2003 and arrived at Mona in 2003. Just as with Katy she was confiscated by the authorities but just in time before she could be sold as a pet.

Personality: She is a very strong and dominant individual, always watching over her group. In contrast to Katy she is behaves very well towards the staff, being very tolerant and with very little aggression. Being the most dominant of the group, she is very strict and at times too aggressive to other members of the group and sometimes not letting them eat. She is very clever, which should be a positive but that makes it difficult for us to move her to the inside facilities (to clean the outsides) as she obviously prefers to have access to all installations at the same time.
