I have integrated well into the family group at MONA where I have been re-united with my mum Romie and have formed a close friendship with Waty, who is a similar age.

About Me:

I was born in 1998 to Romie but was taken away from her when I was a few months old. I was trained to perform in circuses and TV commercials by my owner and was kept alone in a tiny cage. My owner refused to let me rejoin the rest of my family but after a three-year battle I was rescued and brought to the Mona sanctuary in 2004 where I was reunited with my family. I have had a hard start in life and still show signs of stereotypic behaviour such as rocking my head back and forth but am improving slowly and my carers are confident that the peace and security that I now enjoy at Mona will help me to overcome my stereotypical behaviour.
