History: Charly was born in captivity in approximately 1989 and he arrived at Mona in 2001). He previously was used in the entertainment industry: cinema, circus, television, tourist attraction .. . etc. He lived in an old truck in the dark in a tiny cage with Marco, Toni and Romie.

Personality: He is very sensitive and intelligent. He gets stressed easily and doesn't like any changes in his environment. His stereotypic behaviour is rotating his neck. He can be difficult with new members of staff.

Likes: He enjoys making a big nest of straw to sleep.
