- History: Juanito was Born in captivity in 2003 and he arrived at Mona in 2003. He was previously born in a zoo in the Canary Islands where he was taken away from his mother at a very young age to be sold as a pet in Madrid.
Personality: Genial and cheerful. He has developed excellent in his ability to relate to all individuals of the group and is well liked within the group. It has a very strong position within the group and he has been adopted by Waty, the dominant female. As is typical he has a repetitive stereotyped behaviour, often clinging to a pile of straw when he feels stressed. He can be very insistent and sometimes hyperactive, causing skirmishes in the group.
Likes: Enjoys interacting and playing with any enrichment created by his caregivers.rs.
