On Christmas day we gave the chimps spaghetti and peanut M&Ms hidden in the exteriors with their breakfast and for the lunchtime scatter feed, we made cardboard tubes coated in blueberry jam and filled with sugar puffs, almonds, hazelnuts, figs, prunes, mini ritz biscuits, walnuts, wafer tubes and apple. Later in the afternoon we gave them hot chocolate in cups with straws. They loved it!!!

For boxing day, we made a little wrapped boxes of nutty treats for each chimp and the macaques.

We also bought their favourite winter season fruits (caqui, chirimoya, grenada, avacado, kiwi) too so they're getting lots of fruits salads (mixed with yoghurt) for their dinners.
